challEnge Series - Evening Racing
Take your passion for performance driving to the next level with the Calabogie Challenge Series, an in-house grassroots race series designed for drivers looking to compete in a structured yet accessible environment. Whether you’re an experienced racer or stepping into wheel-to-wheel competition for the first time, our four race classes provide a competitive and exhilarating experience.
Each race night includes a 10-minute qualifier/practice session followed by a 30-minute race, with six of the eight races held on the full 5.05km Calabogie track and two on the Stadium Track, a favorite among racers.
Looking for extra track time? Many race nights align with HPDE and Club Calabogie track days, offering out-of-town drivers an opportunity to practice during the day and race in the evening.

Miata Challenge

The Miata Challenge is where momentum driving meets precision racing. Perfect for those looking for a competitive but approachable entry into racing, this spec-class series ensures tight battles where driver skill is the key to success.

Platinum Challenge
Calabogie Platinum Challenge
For fully caged, closed-wheel race cars.
This advanced race series is the next step beyond the GT Challenge, featuring open passing, high-speed racing, and the longest circuit in Canada. If you’ve been looking to elevate your racecraft against serious competitors, the Platinum Challenge is your proving ground.
2026 Season Highlights:
- 8 races + 1 test & tune day
- Open passing with fully caged sedans
- Ideal for experienced racers ready for intense competition
Driver Requirements:
- Must be signed off to drive solo at CMP or hold a recognized race license
- Comfortable handling high-speed traffic in race conditions
- New participants will undergo a peer review during practice

- Ideal stepping stone into full race competition
Driver Requirements:
- Must be signed off to drive solo at CMP
- High comfort level in fast-moving traffic
- New participants will undergo a peer review during practice
