Why Join the Safety Crew?
Get Paid: These are paid, seasonal positions available throughout the summer.
The Best Seats in the House: You can’t buy a ticket that gets you this close to the action.
No Experience Needed: We teach you everything you need to know to make the right calls.
Don’t just take our word for it—here is what current and past safety marshals have to say about working corners at Calabogie:
“As a retired marshal, I can attest to the fun and camaraderie you have as a track marshal. It is long days in any weather, on your feet all day, and a huge adrenaline rush at times! Other than actually being a racer, I can’t think of a way to get any closer to the action and be a crucial part of the motorsport scene at the same time. As your license gets upgraded, you can have other opportunities at other tracks. I personally have worked bikes and cars, done Calabogie, Mosport, Shannonville, Detroit, Toronto, and Three Rivers… SIGN UP if you can!” — Dan Nowell
“As a Calabogie track marshal going into my 15th year (wow, how time flies), it’s a great pastime. I’m not one that does it for the money; I love the sport of racing and the paid days are just bonuses. Should also be noted is this ‘job’ can lead you to marshaling some pretty prestigious events such as Formula 1, IndyCar series, and IMSA at tracks that are less than 4 hours away. Sign up, you have nothing to lose.” — Mike Lavallee
Want to get up close to the action during our biggest weekend of the year? We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help out during our upcoming NASCAR Canada event at Calabogie Motorsports Park.
Whether you’re experienced or brand new to volunteering, it’s a great way to be part of race weekend, meet others in the motorsport community, and support a massive event at the track.
Take your involvement to the next level. The Calabogie Challenge Series operates with eight volunteer Race Officials for every event to cover crucial track responsibilities: Starter, Pit Lane, Paddock, Operating Steward, False Grid, and more.
No Experience Required: We provide full training in every area, and everyone gets a chance to rotate through different roles throughout the season. It’s fast-paced and fun!
Perks: Volunteers receive a modest gas allowance.
Go Pro: The experience you build right here allows you to qualify as a Licensed Race Official. Our officials work throughout North America in many different professional capacities, and Calabogie is where it all starts!
