All of our coaches are expected to work from our curriculum which is integrated into our Run Group Guide. All instructors who are approved by us also receive a copy of our Coaches Manual which they are expected to fully read and adhere to.
ALL COACHES at any given event, whether part of the Calabogie Motorsports team or working independently/privately, must attend the Coaches Meeting at each event, which is generally held at 7:30am, or 30 minutes prior to the general driver’s meeting. Calabogie Motorsports Park boasts the title of Canada’s longest track, spanning over 5 kilometers with more than 20 thrilling turns. Navigating such a dynamic course demands more than a few laps to master. Our Intro Nights are expertly structured in a lead/follow format, allowing you to acquaint yourself with the track’s nuances, flow, and intricacies.
During these sessions, you’ll have the invaluable guidance of a seasoned driving coach at your disposal. Maximizing your time with them is paramount as you progress towards refining your performance driving skills. By familiarizing yourself with the track layout and its rhythm through our lead/follow introduction program, you’ll accelerate your development on the track.
HPDE Intro Nights are scheduled approximately every 3-4 weeks, conveniently preceding our HPDE events. This strategic scheduling enables you to seamlessly book both events together, optimizing your learning curve and progression.
