Are you a first-time driver ready to take on the challenges of Calabogie Motorsports Park?
As Canada’s longest track—spanning 5.05 km with over 20 thrilling turns—navigating this dynamic course takes practice. Whether you’re brand new to the track or simply want to sharpen your skills, our HPDE Introduction Nights are the perfect, confidence-building entry into high-performance driving.
This program uses a lead/follow format designed to introduce you to on-track skills and performance driving best practices. You and up to three other drivers will follow a seasoned driving coach in a Calabogie Mustang.
By following your coach, you will learn:
The proper racing line and track rhythm
How and when to pass safely
Where to look on the track
Correct braking and throttle application
Track Time: Three 25-minute on-track sessions, with driver briefings in between.
Time: 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Frequency: Scheduled approximately every 3–4 weeks.
Progression: Intro Nights conveniently precede our standard HPDE events. This allows you to book both together, seamlessly progressing to the next stage with an in-car coach the following week.
Helmets: M2015 or SA2015 minimum helmet rating is required. If you are unsure of your rating or need a helmet, rentals are available for $30.00.
Attire: Long pants and proper closed-toe shoes are mandatory (no sandals or flip-flops).
Vehicles: Fully electric vehicles are not permitted to run on the track.
Expert Guidance: All coaches are Level II certified with the Motorsports Safety Foundation.
Fuel On-Site: 91 and 94 octane fuel is available at the track.
Don’t miss out on this efficient pathway to rapid improvement behind the wheel. Book your Intro Night today and accelerate your development on the track!
Please contact us if you are looking for that next step. As always, seat time is vital, we can never stop learning and neither should you. HPDE@calabogiemotorsports.com
